Card Game Milestones
From a classroom experiment to a globally shared open resource.
How to Play
Place cards, explain connections, earn points — the best explanation wins.
Draw Your Hand
Each player draws 6 cards from the shuffled deck. Cards contain definitions, theorems, or examples — each with a point value and directional bonus pips.
Place a Card
On your turn, place a card adjacent to any card already on the table — horizontally or vertically — building a shared grid of concepts.
Explain the Connection
Explain how your card relates to every neighbour in its row and column. The other players judge your reasoning — a solid justification earns points.
Score & Win
Earn points equal to the sum of all connected cards plus directional bonuses. First to 30 points triggers the final round — highest score wins.
